Frisbee in the Snow

There is not much other than snow going on these days. But one evening last week, we got the girls out into the pony pasture for a round of frisbee while the ponies were in the shed eating.

Those three were from one catch. Pretty typical of casts when both girls get to run. Shawnee gets there first, but Molly does the retrieve!

Love the pics! Looks like they are having fun. We have a border collie and like him so much we've been thinking of getting another one. Is two better than one? ;-)

Most BC lovers will tell you that 1 is never enough. But it is a good idea to wait until the first dog has matured. We got Shawnee when Molly was 2. She was well-trained and old enough to act as a mentor for the puppy.

Please look into rescuing! Lots of BCs are desperate for loving homes and a rescue can help find a dog that is a good match for your family and your current dog.

We would definitely rescue. That's where we got our current BC. I guess they are so active a lot of apt. dwellers give them away when they tear up their homes in boredom :-(

Great pictures! The snow can be a great place to train your dogs...if they aren't too afraid of the cold. It looks like they were really having fun playing frisbee!

Looks like they are having a lot of fun in that snow. We had some today, not that much but enough for some fun snow zoomies...lol
